Looks like a beach..

I had a friend who restored old houses in Brittany. I wondered why he made the windows smaller rather than larger. When I went inside in the evening I found out why. Every object seem more significant and interesting with light that made it through. This glimpse of sun from a dark interior reminds me of this. It seems magical and ineffable, full of enchantment and mystery.
